Anaglyphos is a latin word for a sculpture, ornament, or architectural feature carved in low relief. An essence of Anaglyphos is alive in my work.
This artwork is partly about the spatial influences of light via tactile sensing--and feeling.
Walking Rain Studio is situated high in the mountains, a few miles north of Taos, in the small and vibrant village of Arroyo Seco. This uniquely luminous area is known as the Upper Rio Grande Valley, and Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
Our small and sustainable fabric shop, COMMON THREAD, was established in the town of Taos, New Mexico, in 1992.
